The wooden floor remains all time classic as it combines the aesthetic luxury of construction with the pleasant sensation of the wood.
The floor is placed in two ways either on a wooden frame of beams (nailed) or on preexisting flooring glued or floating.
It can be applied indoors and outdoors with the difference that externally can be positioned a special timber which is resistant to moisture.
After the placement it follows the rubbing which is made with special floor abrasives machines.
After that it follows the plastering, priming and varnishing of the floor.
The polishing is done with special coatings and the right choice of varnish is crucial since this first wears with use.
There are polyurethane varnishes, water lacquers (green) and turpentine varnish.
From all these varnishes you may choose between glossy, satin or matt finish.
